things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

What an amazing experience and revelation of our Father’s love to us last night. As we continue our journey across America we do know that we truly have fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

I and my brother Christian Israel have just begun a one month tour in America touring several camp meetings. It began in Roan Mountain, Tennessee where we listened to several messages and also took part in several discussions and even presented a few messages to the brethren emphasizing the power of the blood of the everlasting covenant, and the fact that this power, the life of Christ in the soul, the Holy Spirit of God was available from creation. A strong resistance came against this message and many of the other messages were emphasizing that the power of the blood was very limited before the cross. Some messages had gone so far as to deny that the new heart and the born again experience was not available before the cross.

“Since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead,” because the second man Adam is a quickening Spirit, being “the resurrection and the life.” Therefore in Christ death was abolished, and life and immortality were brought to light in the Gospel, the very day that Adam sinned. If it had not been so, Adam would have died that very day. Abraham and Sarah proved in their own bodies that Christ had abolished death, for they both experienced the power of the resurrection, rejoicing to see Christ’s day. Long before their day, Enoch’s translation without seeing death had proved that its power was broken; and his translation was due to his faith in Christ. Much more, then, was “the Gospel dispensation” in full glory as far down in the history of the world as Sinai. Whatever other dispensation than the Gospel dispensation any people have ever shared, has been solely because of their hardness and impenitent heart, which despised the riches of God’s goodness and forbearance and long-suffering, and treasured up unto themselves wrath against the day of wrath. While unbelievers are under the old covenant, believers are at the same time in the new; for “if any man be in Christ, there is a new creation; old things have passed away: behold all things have become new. {EJ Waggoner, The Everlasting Covenant page 342}

Many are teaching that the power of the resurrection was not available until Calvary, or until Pentecost. But we have been shown

that His covenant, and the power of the covenant was as available to them before the cross as it is today. Our Father did not withhold any of His power and spirit from Abraham. Abraham could enter in by the new and living way and behold the glory, becoming changed into the same image.

The comforter that Abraham had, knew his frame, he knew the hairs on his head, he knew the cells in the body, and he knew what it was like to be tempted. (Heb 2:18) Although God cannot be tempted, he did know our infirmities. The blood of that cross was available from the lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and the blood has been cleansing people from sin since that time. Since the blood of bulls and goats could not purge the conscience of sin and therefore could not make a man righteous, the power of the blood of the everlasting covenant, the blood of the lamb of God, the resurrected life, the life of Christ, the Holy Spirit of God had to have been given in its full glory even before the time of the event of His cross.

Praise the Lord our Father does not leave some without that power and expect them to work as hard as they can to try to overcome sin without that power, to try to prove they are good without the power of the blood. This would make salvation and overcoming impossible, and it would be to say “We have no need of the power of the blood.” It would devalue the blood, and it would devalue the price that was paid to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Abraham was righteous by faith.

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

It is not to say that Christ was not crucified in AD 31. He was, but the power of the blood, the Holy Spirit was available in full glory before the cross to any who would come to Him in faith.

Many good discussions took place at these meetings, however, It was clear that the 1888 message was misunderstood and many of the people at these meetings were not recognizing the implications on the character of God before the cross. Some had gone so far as to even say that God had ordained a system of legalism and works before the cross.

1Ki 19:10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

Ellen White had likened these men AT Jones and EJ Waggoner as “messengers” with a “message from God”. The message included a proper understanding of the everlasting covenant. EJ Waggoner wrote a book called “The Everlasting Covenant”.

Night before last I was shown that evidences in regard to the covenants were clear and convincing. Yourself and…others are spending your investigative powers for naught to produce a position on the covenants to vary from the position that Brother Waggoner has presented. Had you received the true light which shineth you would not have imitated or gone over the same manner of interpretation and misconstruing the Scriptures as did the Jews… The covenant question is a clear question and would be received by every candid, unprejudiced mind, but I was brought where the Lord gave me an insight into this matter. You have turned from plain light…”(Ellen White, Letter to Uriah Smith, March 8, 1890)

Many in our movement who are considered “great leaders in Israel” seemed to know as much as Nicodemus regarding the new birth before the cross. Like Nicodemus they did not see this experience as something that was had before the cross, and that God ordained a covenant of condemnation of the law before the cross and that was it. Many objections were made against the “light from heaven” at these meetings. Only two days after the meeting our Father gave us an amazing revelation of His glory. Here is the account and testimony.

Many seemed to be missing the mercy, justice and faith had only by the blood of Christ and were saying it was not available before the cross. (Matt 23:23) This makes God unmerciful, unjust, and unloving, and by beholding a God like this we become changed into the same image.

A Glorious and Amazing Revelation of His Everlasting Covenant

garden of eden
Biltmore House Gardens in North Carolina – Amazing plants in the garden, a type or reminder of the promise and covenant that we should inherit Eden to come.

Shortly after the Roan Mountain camp meeting, we were spending time at the meeting and weren’t quite sure where our next destination was. We were planning on going to North Carolina and our brother Bill Cave was impressed to ask us to come to his house for a couple of days. So we did.

After spending some time walking and talking about the covenant and how we really felt that some were nailing some promises and blessings to the cross we came across this beautiful garden. And we were talking about the promise of our reinstatement into Eden, about coming together at the tree of life every month and coming before the throne of God and the lamb which was slain from the foundation of the world and the power of the blood of the everlasting covenant and how the power and life in that blood was available from the foundation of the world.

We were beholding the beauty of the flowers, contemplating the size of the plants and talking of how beautiful and amazing it will be when we come into the garden of Eden and inherit the promise land. Then as speaking of this great promise of the covenant, I looked behind brother Bill and beheld the bow of promise.

Gen 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

The bow in the sky was showing only on one side. We went inside the garden and the bow began to disappear. A prayer was given that our Father would remove the cloud from the sun so that we could behold the token of the everlasting covenant. Within a few minutes the cloud was removed and it began to shine brighter and more glorious than it had before. It was shining from one end of the sky to the other, and we began to praise the Lord. The wind began to blow and we were immediately reminded of Pentecost, we knew the angels were with us and we were in the presence of His Holy Spirit.

“But see the kindness and mercy of God even in this. He offered them the bright shining of His glorious Gospel, and they interposed a veil of unbelief, so that they could receive only the shadow. Yet that very shadow was an ever-present reminder of the substance. When a thick, passing cloud casts a shadow on the earth, we know, if we are not too dull to think, that it could not cast a shadow if it were not for the sun; so that even the cloud proclaims the presence of the sun. If therefore people nowadays, even professed Christians, were not as blind as the children of Israel ever were, they would be always rejoicing in the light of God’s countenance, since even a cloud always proves the light to be present, and faith always causes the cloud to disappear, or else sees in it the bow of promise.” {EJ Waggoner , The Everlasting Covenant page 338}

Bill and Christian amazed by our Father answering our prayers at Biltmore house. Truly a spectacle of the Evelasting Covenant.

As we were praising God and giving glory to Him, then rain began to fall. We were reminded.

Zec 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

What a beautiful shower we were given, the clouds were lighted up. Our prayer of faith had removed the vail, and the glory of the sun was reflecting more intensely than ever, the wind was blowing, and we knew we were in the presence of God. That He was revealing in type the way into the most Holy place. Even as Moses who went in beyond the vail.

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

About 10 minutes later we went over to the other side of the mountain and beheld a glorious view of the mountains. And then the promise of the covenant was given to us.

Rom 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

And it is faith that removes the cloud, so that we can behold the glory of the everlasting covenant. The glory of the cross. The glory of the Holy Spirit. The promise of the everlasting covenant made with Abraham includes the inheritance of the world, and all the land as far as our eyes could see on those lovely mountains.

We have been shown but a small shadow of the reality, however, by faith we look beyond the cloud and behold the lamb of God, the glorious gospel, even as Moses who went in by the new and living way, the blood of the everlasting covenant, by which he drew nigh unto God.

Sundown at Biltmore House – The promise that we should be heirs of the world through righteousness by faith in the blood of the everlasting covenant. We know that our Father is with us and given us an understanding and power that we should be called the sons of God.
What a beautiful message we were given. When understood, we can say for sure that every fibre in our being is saying AMEN.

“Moses talked with God with unveiled face. When the others “stood afar off,” “Moses drew near.” It is only by the blood of Christ that any can draw nigh.
By the blood of Jesus we have boldness to enter even into the holiest, into the secret place of God. The fact that Moses did this shows his knowledge of the power of the precious blood and his confidence in it. But the blood that was able to give boldness and access to Moses, could have done the same to all the others, if they had believed as he did.” {1900 EJ Waggoner, The Everlasting Covenant page 340}
