Who Is Israel in the New Covenant? What does All Israel will be saved mean? Many today believe that the last conflicts on earth revolve around the middle east and the nation of Israel. Is this true? The book of Revelation talks about 12 tribes of Israel and 144,000. Who are they? And if it is National Israel it is referring to, is it National Babylon that it is referring to as well? Let’s analyze the good book and see what God is trying to tell us. The very opening of the book of Revelation says “God signified it to his servants”{Rev 1:1]. This book must be understood as a book of symbols. And they are of no private interpretation. Only God can interpret it. Let’s let the word interpet what it means. Romans 11:26 says, "And so all Israel will be saved." What does this mean? Paul says: Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: We were Gentiles in time past Paul says, aliens from the commonwealth of Israel. We are about to find out who Israel of the New covenant is. Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Jesus died breaking down the wall between the nation of Israel and all other nations. The promises are to anyone who accepts. Why would we want to build the wall back up that he has tore down? Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; Paul is saying that the New Covenant is established with us. We are Israel. We are no longer foreigners of the land. Rom 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: Saying we are grafted in contrary to our nature. Naturally we are not Jews. Naturally we are not an Israelite. He says "Israel is not all Israel"Romans 9:6 Paul says. Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. A Jew is one in the spirit now. Spiritually we are Jews. Spiritually we are Israelites. So we can see and understand more who the 144,000 are. As it is a symbol of those whose praise is of God. A symbol of the church. Not the church in letter, but the church in spirit and in heart. The church in letter has tares among the wheat. Rom 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. The fleshly seed is not the children of the promise in the new Covenant though the oracles are commited to them and they have the advantages much every way it is not fleshly Israel that have recieved the New Covenant. We are Israel. The Jewish church fell when she said "We have no King but Ceasar". 70 weeks had been determined on "NATIONAL" Israel to repent, "To Put an end to sin". John the baptist said: Mat 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. The Jews said we are Abrahams seed, we have the promises. There were hundreds of OT promises given to Abraham, Israel, Jews. These promises will not be broken. The word Israel means “overcomer”. All promises are conditional on obedience. If we fail to take these promises and accept them as ours as Paul is trying to tell us gentiles. Then they could be given to someone else. And if worst came to worst the rocks would cry out. Deu 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; Deu 11:27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: Deu 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God The blessing would be given if they accepted the promise at the end of 70 weeks and put an end to sin, and made reconciliation and brought in everlasting righteousness. But they left out the weightier matters of the law, judgement mercy, faith. This was a very sad day for Jesus. The promises were given. But would the nation make an end of the unrighteousness? Would they do the works of Abraham? Jesus looked on National Jerusalem and said. Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. Fulfilling the Prophecy of Daniel 9. In the midst of the 70th week the Messiah was Crucified. Sacrifice and Oblation meant no more when the Most Holy place was left wide open from the torn veil. The father was no longer with them. Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. The new Covenant was confirmed in the midst of this prophecy. Jesus said “This is my blood of the New covenant which is confirmed with many”[Matt 26:28, Mark 14:24] He even uses the word “Many” just as Daniel. A further study of the 70 weeks is recommended for those who do not understand this prophecy. As many understand this prophecy improperly and place the 70th week at the end of the world and call it a 7 year tribulation. God teaches us nowhere that we are to divide the weeks. And that interpretation is completely of private interpretation. Jesus told a parable earlier about the vineyard and the Husbandman. What would be the fate of National Israel? Mat 21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. John came to them telling them not to say "We have Abraham as a father". God can raise up rocks to be Abrahams seed. And he can definitely raise us "Gentiles to be his seed". Paul says we are “Abrahams seed through Jesus Christ”[Gal 3:29] Mat 21:33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder[God]]which planted a vineyard,[ISRAEL]and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen,[Jewish leaders] and went into a far country: Mat 21:34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. Mat 21:35 And the husbandmen took his servants,[Prophets]and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another Mat 21:36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first:[Continued mercy] and they did unto them likewise. Mat 21:37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. Mat 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son,[JESUS]they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. Mat 21:39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. Mat 21:40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? Mat 21:41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. The Pharisees new the answer to the question. Did they realize that they had just prophesied over their own country. Did they realize that there house was to be left desolate. That the promises to their nation were to be given to others because they rejected the prophets. Mat 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? Mat 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. Now the question is, who did he give the promises too? Abraham And we are grafted in, in the next parable he says go find whoever you can find and bring them to the wedding. National Israel was not ready and did not make an end of sin. Yet they can still be grafted back in. They have an advantage in every way for unto them was the oracles of God commited. But nationally there time was up. The 70 week probation had ended. Peter earlier asked Jesus a question "How Often shall I forgive my brother, Seven Times? Mat 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Jesus chose his words very carefully. Seventy weeks was the limit of National forgiveness for Israel. So the elect are now called from all nations. The twelve tribes are scattered across the earth. [James 1:1] Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. What can I say "I also am an Israelite of the seed of Jesus Christ" The Lord has written his laws on my heart. By faith we look for a City prepared of God. The city of my God which is the New Jerusalem. God keeps his promises. He will never forsake us. Though a corporate body or church or structure could forsake him. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Act 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Therefore I percieve that the Gentiles have been grafted into Israel, and All Israel shall be saved according to the promise. The deliverer out of Sion[Jesus] Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Spiritual Jews, Spiritual Israel, He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith to the Churches. Don't be part of Spiritual Sodom and Egypt, or spiritual Babylon, come out and be seperate touch not the unclean thing. What do the 12 tribes of Revelation 7 mean. The sealed of God are found without guile in there mouths. Many understand the seal to be the Sabbath. This is what we believe as well. But not just the letter of Sabbath, but the Spirit also. The Sabbath Rest Principle. Many are taking the Mark without knowing it. But this verse is about Abraham and should tell you a little about the Seed of Israel that are sealed in Revelation 7. Rom 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith In Rev 14 which also talks about Resting from there works. Rest means to Sabbath. The 144,000 rest in Jesus, and his works do follow them. [Rev 14:11-13] Because they have his faith. The 144,000 of Revelation 7 have 2 tribes which are left out, Dan he was a backbiter,[Mean spirit] and Ephraim was attached to its idols.[Loved the world]. Backbiters and idolators will be left out of the Kingdom of heaven. We are not of those who draw back to perdition, but we're saved from our sins.[Matt 1:21] And no longer commit willful or known sins by the power of the faith of Jesus which is a constant trust in our fathers word[Heb 10:25, 1 John 3:6, 9]. That is the power of God contained in his word that makes us the New creature if we believe "All thing become new". The message of the 144,000 Rachel and Leah made prophetic statements for all 12 of Jacob's sons. Here are the names of the tribes that make up the 144,000 (in the order listed in Revelation chapter 7), together with the meaning of each name: 1.Judah= "I will praise the Lord" 2.Reuben = "He has looked on me" 3.Gad= "Granted good fortune" 4.Asher= "Happy am I" 5.Naphtali= "My wrestling" 6.Manasseh= "Making me to forget" 7.Simeon= "God hears me" 8.Levi= "Joined to me" 9.Issachar= "Purchased Me" 10.Zebulun= "Dwelling" 11.Joseph= "God will add to me" 12.Benjamin= "Son of His right hand"Now notice what happens when the meaning of the names are combined, in the same order, into a paragraph: "I will praise the Lord for He has looked on me and granted good fortune. Happy am I because my wrestling God is making me to forget. God hears me and is joined to me. He has purchased me a dwelling. God will add to me the Son of His right hand." (The words in italics are supplied to complete each thought.) These names describe the story of the church's struggle, redemption, victory, and marriage to the Lamb. We have the testimony of Jesus. Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Comment and/or Like our Facebook Page
